Epic Race Debut in Swim City
The 1st Annual Swim Fort Lauderdale Beach will debut with a significant competitive advantage for an inaugural event, by riding the wave of interest and excitement over ocean swimming, which is one of the fastest growing extreme fitness sports in South Florida! This epic event will start in historic Fort Lauderdale Beach Park just a stone’s throw away from the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
Course is contingent on tides/conditions and subject to change.
On race day, transportation services will be provided to get swimmers from the event headquarters at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park to the race start. The course will begin at Sebastian Street Beach. You will swim out and keep buoys on your right shoulder and swim a mile along the ocean line until you get to the event finish line at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park beach marked by a large green buoy where you will turn in and a large archway where you will run under on the beach to complete your race time.
