On race day, the current will decide whether the start of the race is at the check in area at the park or if it is one mile north.  We will perform a group walk beginning at 8:45 AM.  For those that need transportation, please notify the race director. The course will begin at Sebastian Street Beach. You will swim out and keep buoys on your right shoulder and swim a mile along the ocean line until you get to the event finish line at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park beach marked by a large green buoy where you will turn in and a large archway where you will run under on the beach to complete your race time.

VERY IMPORTANT * PER OCEAN RESCUE, YOU MUST STAY WITHIN 50 YARDS OF THE SHORE LINE. IF YOU DO NOT, THEY WILL PULL YOU FROM THE RACE*

Safety is our #1 priority at all races.

CHECK IN INFORMATION

Check in will be provided on the beach on the south side of basketball courts at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park starting at 7:30 AM. Waves will begin at 9:15 AM.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Transportation will not be provided to the race start, there will be a group walk/warmup to the start if the start is a mile away. Should the start be at the check in point, you may walk back for the awards ceremony and to gather your belongings.
