When: January 21, 2018 – 9 AM
Where: Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, 1100 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
All parking will take place in Fort Lauderdale Beach Park parking lot, on a first come, first serve basis.
Course is contingent on tide/current conditions.
On race day, the current will decide whether the start of the race is at the check in area at the park or if it is one mile north. We will perform a group walk beginning at 8:45 AM. For those that need transportation, please notify the race director. The course will begin at Sebastian Street Beach. You will swim out and keep buoys on your right shoulder and swim a mile along the ocean line until you get to the event finish line at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park beach marked by a large green buoy where you will turn in and a large archway where you will run under on the beach to complete your race time.
VERY IMPORTANT * PER OCEAN RESCUE, YOU MUST STAY WITHIN 50 YARDS OF THE SHORE LINE. IF YOU DO NOT, THEY WILL PULL YOU FROM THE RACE*
Safety is our #1 priority at all races.
