Swim Miami is back at the Miami Marine Stadium. Set in an amazing pristine, generally calm water environment that will definitely allow for all ages and abilities to enjoy the fast growing sport of Open Water Swimming. Challenge yourself to one of four amazing races: 800M, The Miami Mile, The 5K swim, or the 10K swim. If that’s not enough, bring your dogs along for the world famous K-9 Krawl World Championships, a human/dog duathlon where owner and dog swim 200 yards and run 400 yards. This is the premiere fan friendly open water event that you wouldnt want to miss in the USA! Best of all this year, the USA Swimming Open Water Nationals and all of their athletes will be in town so you may want to take the whole weekend to enjoy Open Water Swimming.

– All participants must do mandatory check in on Saturday, May 5.
– Changes will be allowed up until a week prior to the event. Any changes made after that will require a $15 fee.

The 10K Swim: 4 hours
The 5K Swim: 2 hours
The Miami Mile: 1 hour
The 800M Swim: 30 minutes

Wetsuits: Wetsuits are allowed but only if you marked it on your registration.
Water Temperature: 81-82 degrees (F)
Safety: Current World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) rules will govern this meet. Safety rules as outlined by WOWSA and as recommended by the referee, will be in effect.
Water Entry: This event will employ an in-water start and beach finish. All entries will be feet first and controlled by the safety officer. There are no racing dives permitted.
Hydration Station: There will be a hydration station available with electrolytes and water. You may bring your own hydration but you will need to have a man on the dock to hand to you.
