We offer a variety of races including the 800M Swim, Miami Mile, 5K Swim, 10K Swim, and the K-9 Krawl (a fun human/dog duathlon).

Do I need to be a competitive swimmer to join?

Not at all! Swim Miami welcomes both competitive and recreational swimmers. Just choose the distance that fits your experience and comfort level.

Is the event safe for open water beginners?

Yes! All races are closely monitored by lifeguards, safety boats, and medical teams. We also recommend beginners start with shorter distances like the 800M or Miami Mile.

What should I bring on race day?

Event Details & Schedule

Pre-Event Requirements

Check-in will take place only on Sunday, April 6th, starting 1.5 hours before each race. Please plan your arrival accordingly to ensure a smooth start.

Race changes are permitted up to one week before the event. After that, a $15 change fee will apply. If you registered with a discount and wish to switch distances, you’ll also need to pay the difference in race fees.
